Distinguished Canadian Leadership Awards
As a university we have an obligation to provide people with the skills and understanding they need to take their place in the world. Because of our unique position in Ottawa and in Canada, the University of Ottawa has an opportunity to cultivate leaders showing what true Canadian leadership looks like and recognizing outstanding achievements in the Canadian community.
And so, Canada’s university created the Distinguished Canadian Leadership Awards. They recognize, in a respectful and significant way, the unique and important accomplishments of truly distinguished Canadians.
Nominations are submitted to the University of Ottawa Distinguished Canadian Leadership Award Selection Committee and awards are presented annually during an awards dinner.
